I’m Sarah and I’m currently studying for my WSET Wine and Spirits Diploma whilst juggling a fantastic job in drinks PR.
Eats, Drinks and Sleeps pretty much sums up my existence.
I’m always keen to attend tastings or events that I could learn something from, and always on the look out for new places to eat and drink and discoveries that will expand my palate and culinary repertoire.
I love to meet like-minded wine and spirit loving types who are generous with their recommendations, and have co-created winediners.co.uk for that very purposed.

Disclaimer – this blog will be full of my thoughts, opinions and general musings not those of the company and brands I represent.
Hi, nice to meet you !
Hi Sarah
I’m part of an inaugrual WSET Diploma group studying in Sydney, Australia. We are in our second year with the Unit 5 Sparkling Wines of the World exam looming on Thursday 10.03.011. I was pleased to come across your blog and am now more informed about a premium Prosecco producer (Riccado)! Thank you. Glad to know you are getting some exposure to those ‘flying’ wine Aussies who are dotted around the world. Cheers, Karen
Best of luck for your Unit 5 Sparkling exam today Karen, I don’t have mine until November but it does fall on my 30th birthday so I’m determined to be as prepared as possible, if you have any learnings do share.
So great to realise quite how international the WSET Diploma truly is, just this week three people from three different parts of the globe have got in touch, including yourself. I feel good being part of some special global club of growing wine knowledge.
Hi Sarah,
I just got into the wine trade and started the WSET Diploma back in January this year.
Also to keen to meet and learn about new people and new wine and have created my little blog too (http://tippletips.blogspot.com). Let’s keep in touch!
Cheers

ps: I’ve got some revisions on Unit 6 that could be useful to further generations. Should I send to you to publish them on your blog?
Hi Alex, thanks for getting in touch I’ll check out your blog. Would be good to catch up in person, I’ll drop you a line to sort something out. In the meantime, do send across any revisions/additional thoughts for the blog.

Hi Sarah,
Nice stumbling upon your blog: I find it very nicely done, informative and also entertaining: good job!
Also, good luck with your WSET diploma: I went through all the three modules of the Italian Sommelier Association certification program and I enjoyed the course immensely, except the stress for the final test, that is!
Take care
